ONLINE BANKING TERMS OF USE & ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
1. Introduction
This Online Banking Terms of Use and Acceptable Use Policy (“Agreement”) governs your use of Unity National Bank’s online banking services, including access through our website, mobile applications, and other digital platforms. By accessing or using these services, you agree to comply with the terms set forth below.
2. Definitions
Online Banking refers to Unity National Bank’s digital platforms for accessing financial services. User Credentials include your login ID, password, multi-factor authentication, and any associated tools required for secure access. A Consumer is any individual using Online Banking for personal or business purposes.
3. Eligibility and Enrollment
To access Online Banking, you must have an eligible Unity National Bank account. By enrolling, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date to maintain uninterrupted access to services.
4. Acceptable Use
Customers are permitted to use Online Banking solely for lawful and authorized purposes. Acceptable use includes accessing account balances and statements, transferring funds between your own accounts or to authorized third parties, paying bills, reviewing transactions, managing account alerts, and communicating securely with Unity National Bank.
5. Prohibited Use
Customers may not use Online Banking to attempt unauthorized access to accounts not under their ownership or control, engage in fraudulent or illegal activity, transmit viruses, malware, or malicious code, circumvent security measures, or use automated scripts or software to extract data (commonly known as ‘scraping’).
6. Security Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your User Credentials. If you suspect unauthorized activity, you must notify the Bank immediately. Unity National Bank is not responsible for losses resulting from your failure to safeguard your login information.
7. System Availability and Modifications
Online Banking services may occasionally be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance or unexpected system issues. Unity National Bank reserves the right to modify or discontinue any Online Banking feature at its discretion, with or without notice.
8. Fees and Limits
Certain Online Banking transactions may be subject to fees, as disclosed in your account agreement. Transaction limits and processing cut-off times may apply and are subject to change by the Bank.
9. Liability and Indemnity
By using Online Banking, you agree to hold Unity National Bank harmless from any liability arising from unauthorized or prohibited use of the service. Your liability is also governed by applicable federal and state laws and your underlying account agreement.
10. Amendments
Unity National Bank reserves the right to update or amend this Agreement at any time. Any changes will be posted to the Bank’s website and become effective immediately upon posting.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Online Banking at any time for violation of these terms. You may also terminate your enrollment by submitting a written request to the Bank.
12. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.
